The Commonwealth Club's membership benefits
Membership of the Commonwealth Club in Canberra is generally by invitation. While the largest source of new members is existing members, this is not the only pathway to membership.
We welcome new members. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Commonwealth Club, please send your expression of interest to the Club's General Manager.

Accommodation
The Commonwealth Club provides quality accommodation for Club members, guests of members and members of reciprocal clubs. All seventeen rooms are tastefully appointed and feature ensuite bathrooms, remote digital televisions, air-conditioning, direct dial telephones, free wireless internet and personal bars.
Most rooms enjoy magnificent views over the lake and the city. Residents have the convenience of using room service or making use of the fully equipped pantry located on the accommodation floor where tea and coffee facilities are provided.
Wine Appreciation
Wine appreciation is taken seriously at the Commonwealth Club. The Club boasts an extensive wine collection and regularly hosts wine dinners, tastings, promotions, tours, and special events for members. These occasions provide opportunities for members to learn from leading Australian winemakers, who share their secrets and insider tips.
